That the cost of changing the marketing message on the side of the vehicles using adhesive vinyl was found to be prohibitive as there were going to be a minimum of four changes over the year. The major factor in the escalating cost was that whilst the initial installation was cheaper the adhesive vinyl had to be removed , the vehicle substrate cleaned, and new vinyl applied. This increased the cost every time a change was required.
To overcome this excessive cost situation and the problem of drilling holes in the substrate as the vehicles were leased, over a period of two years, Spedian developed the World’s only reusable vehicle graphic system with no visible frame with a UK & USA patent.
The retailers vehicles travelled to the suburbs throughout the UK with great success as the messages on the side of the vehicle formed part of a cohesive marketing campaign and reached the front doors of their target audience.
